Original Segeberger Vario-Bottom Board
The entrance is shifted about 3cm backwards, featureing the integrated apporach board for bees.
The entrance it self is about 8mm hight, ensuring no mouse to come in.
The inside of Vario-Bottom Board is desingned to have a 8cm hight cavity, so the bees are able to cluster under theire combs. To prevent the bees to bild wild comb into the cavity, we recoment to ad the building stop (Art.-No. 10166) (not inkluded).
Ventelation is prevent by a big aluminum grid, witch perfectly fits the bottom surface. The bottom surface is tilted towards the entrance making it easier for the bees to keep their home clean.
In terms of varroa- or pestcontrol its easy to insert our varroa slide (Art-No. 10241) (not inkluded) into the provided slot of Vario-Bottom Board.
