The entrance juts out forwards the outer part of these flat bottom board, featureing the integrated apporach board for bees.
At wintertime add a mouse protection grid (Art.-No. 10240) (not included) across the entrance, to ensure no mouse to come in.
Ventelation is prevent by a big aluminum grid, witch perfectly fits the bottom surface. The bottom surface is tilted towards the entrance making it easier for the bees to keep their home clean.
In terms of varroa- or pestcontrol its easy to insert our varroa slide (Art-No. 10241) (not inkluded) into the provided slot of Vario-Bottom Board.
