Original Segeberger Vario bottom

External dimensions are 500 x 500 x 165 mm. The flight slot is 3 cm offset inwards, it forms an integrated approach surface. The inlet is 8 mm high and thus "mouse-proof". The interior is designed so that the bees have a drum room about 8 cm high. The ventilation takes place through a large plastic grid, which is fitted flush in the bottom surface. The ground surface is inclined towards the slot. The bees can easily keep it clean. For Varroa control, slide tray 10241 (not included in the price) can be inserted from the rear. A big plus of the bottom is its inner form. The grid surface is forward, towards the flight hole, inclined and merges seamlessly into this. This results in almost 100% self-cleaning.
