The bract ist made from polystyrene, it´s stiff and its perfect for restriction of the bees. The restriction is also good for the heat regulation of the bees during the raising in spring time. That’s why the bees grow faster and the consumption of food ist lower during winter season.
On the one side of the Bract Airpop are, on the side, at the top of the left and right, two spacers of 5mm.  So that the beespace between bract and frame is guaranteed.
