Our new bee cell drill helps to get the eggs out of the honeycomb easily. It is particularly suitable for beekeepers, who can’t handle the grafting tools quite well. The handling of the cell drill is easy and comfortable and helps to breed queen bees practically.
The bee cell drill consists of two parts: a plastic tube with spikes on the one hand and a counterpart to press the cell with the fertilized egg out at the other hand. All parts are made of food safe plastic.
Instructions for use:
Place the plastic tube above the comb so that you can see the egg through the middle of the plastic tube.
Drill the egg out of the comb with a twist movement. Now stick plastic tube with the egg and the counterpart together and press the egg trough the tube to the top. Place the comb with the fertilized egg in the cell starter cup. Stick the cell starter cup together with the pointed cup holder and place it within the bee colony lacking a queen.
